Philips CVR-200 Car Driving Video Camera and Camcorders

Your reliable eyewitness

Automatically record while you drive

The CVR200 records everything on the road, in 1080p at 30 fps. A high dynamic range CMOS sensor delivers great video even in low light, while write protection secures recent recordings and space-saving design proves perfect for windscreens.

Philips Car driving recorder CVR200

The Philips Car Driving Recorder CVR200 delivers crisp and detailed videos in Full HD 1080p or HD 720p videos and 5 megapixels still images, at a true viewing angle of 95°. The CMOS sensor integrates a High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature that handles extreme variations of bright and dark conditions within the same scene, rapidly adjusting to the changes.

The Philips CVR200 dash cam features a G-sensor that triggers recording in emergency mode when any object comes close to the car in parking mode, or when there's any sudden physical change on the car such as a sudden unintended acceleration (SUA), braking or an impact. The integrated GPS records the date, time and driving path of the vehicle. The Philips CVR200 doesn't integrate a GPS module unlike the Philips Car Driving Recorder CVR700.
The installation and removal of the Philips CVR200 crash cam is effortless with the suction cup mount (included). Powered by the vehicle's DC 12V plug, the camera is equipped with a rechargeable battery allowing to operate even after a collision. The emergency recording file is saved in a folder where it can’t be accidently deleted or recorded over. The Philips CVR200 black box is very small and compact, and can be hidden behind the rear view mirror.
Adjustable Exposure Value (EV)
The driver can adjust manually the Exposure Value to -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 EV for better quality video recording on overexposed or low light conditions.
G-Sensor
The integrated gravity sensor (G-Sensor) automatically detects incidents such as braking or a collision, and saves the relevant video files.
Auto Recording
The Philips CVR200 starts recording as soon as the vehicle's engine starts running.
